Mir Jalal al-din Kazzazi, the Iranian researcher, poet, writer and university professor in 42nd monthly scientific lectures of Institute for Inter-religious Dialogue.
In 42nd monthly session of Institute for Inter-religious Dialogue entitled as "Meaning of spiritual leadership in Attar's philosophy" that was held to commemorate "Attar's Day" (the Iranian Poet and Philosopher) President of IID, Mohammad Ali Abtahi, some of the religion's minority nomination in Iran and those who were interested in religions discussion took part.
Emphasizing on the role of Attar on spiritual leadership, Kazzazi added: "all the persons who are searching for God trying to know God are godly, but finding and searching for God is not the aim on mystical lessons".
"Those who are searching for God, should become God-tempered", he said.
Mentioning Attar's poem on his book "Mantegh-o-tair", kazzazi added: "I his poem, attar shows that lots of birds following hoopoe – that is the symbol of leader among Persian - tried to reach to Phoenix". (The name of Phoenix in Farsi translated as 30 birds and attar use this kind of symbol in his poem(
"But just 30 of these birds can reach to the last goal and finding Phoenix that in real is the shadow of these 30 birds. Other birds are slaves of their desire. All of them think that they are searching for God, but they are not", kazzazi said.
"Some of them are fascinated with money, some are enamored of reaching to power and some are thinking of other desires ant at least just 30 birds find what they were searching for in the outer world in their inner world (in their shadow)", he added.
"Attar tries to show that it is not possible to reach to the final goal without forgetting humble and worthless assets and also without following a leader", kazzaze noticed.
"It is not possible for those who are in mystic way to reach to their goal without leader but the relation of leader and his followers is far beyond the time and place", he said.
